Look after your legs

Standing or sitting for long periods of time can increase the risk of tired, achy legs and other signs of early venous disease
 

How can you help yourself?

  • Don't forget to moisturise to maintain the health of the skin of your legs
  • Stay hydrated because this will help maintain good leg health
  • Eating a balanced diet 
  • Get moving while sitting by rotating your ankles and flexing your feet which will improve your circulation. 
  • Try not to sit or stand for long periods without moving
  • Take a walk at lunchtime, try a walk and talk meeting
  • If possible walk to meetings
It is so important to wear your compression hosiery to prevent could your symptoms from getting worse
