BLS Launch of Everybody Can Award

We are very excited about the 2021 EveryBodyCan campaign and its potential for all our members to be actively involved in influencing perceptions about activity for those with, or at risk of, lymphoedema, encouraging more active lifestyles, while simultaneously raising the profile and understanding of lymphoedema more generally.

BLS EveryBodyCan

Welcome to the British Lymphology Society’s 2020 campaign: EveryBodyCan

Lymphoedema affects over 400,000 people in the UK and the numbers are increasing. To find out more about Lymphoedema and what the lymphatic system does, see What is Lymphoedema?

British Lymphology Society LAW

Every year for LAW we ask you to do something to raise awareness of lymphoedema. This year, we know that everyone is fatigued by the pandemic and lockdown so we’ve made it easier for you to get involved. Let’s use LAW as a springboard for recovery and feeling more positive about the future, and support people with lymphoedema to manage their condition in these difficult times.

Raising awareness of lymphoedema with health care professionals and patients will make a huge difference in reducing the prevalence, severity and impact of lymphoedema by early recognition and intervention.
